As a 20-year veteran criminal lawyer, Jennifer T. Earls is an experienced and skilled litigator, Board Certified in Criminal Law since 2003. Ms. Earls has tried over 100 felony jury trials, including some of the most legally challenging cases such as capital murder, aggravated sexual assault, indecency with a child, aggravated robbery and cases involving abusive head trauma (ABT), shaken baby syndrome (SBS) and serious bodily injury to a child. Jennifer was awarded the prestigious American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Law and has devoted much of her career to the medically and scientifically complex cases alleging sexual abuse and serious physical injury of children. Her years in the field have given Ms. Earls the specialized skills required to successfully defend these cases.

After nearly a decade of experience with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office, Jennifer brings to the firm a unique perspective on how to navigate the intricacies of the Williamson County justice system. As an accomplished lecturer, Ms. Earls has spent years teaching criminal law issues including confessions, search and seizure law and issues involving sexual and physical abuse of children. She was appointed by the District Attorney to train local law enforcement in Williamson County. The training program quickly grew to include outside law enforcement agencies, attorneys and other officials in the criminal justice system.

This Texas native graduated from Texas A&M in 1989 and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston, graduating cum laude in 1994. Ms. Earls has been a member in good standing of the Texas State Bar since 1994 and is a member of the Williamson County Bar Association.
